SEO Link Vine And EzineArticles Fight! Who Comes Out On Top?

Internet Marketing (as in the niche) is interesting. It's what I'd call a "recursive" niche, in the sense that most of the money to be made in the niche is made by selling to the niche. However, the niche itself is focused on selling information to other niches. The gurus and people who make a killing by selling you information won't tell you that they're profiting immensely off you though. Once you do figure it out and decide just to take action, that's when you realize it actually isn't so easy.

If I sound like a sanctimonious fool, it's because I am. I'm also a hypocrite; I've sold PLR content in the past to Internet Marketers, who I know will use that content to sell to other people... and so on and so forth. No one actually ever uses the content! And this is all getting published day in, day out, by people who know that they're doing something shady, but just aren't man enough to realize it. I got sick of the cannibalism. Now, I just write for myself, submitting content to SEO Link Vine.

I started off in Internet Marketing like many people do: through Article Marketing. Sure, I made a few sale here and there. I can clearly remember the day I made my first sale. It was a comission for a relationship e-book. I distinctly remember how excited I was, even though I was confused that it was a sale on a product that I wasn't actively promoting (I was promoting build muscle niche products at the time).

I thought that by making my anchor text in the bio box bolded, I could rank for certain key phrases. Can you believe that? I mean sure, it's possible, if the e-book is brand new and no one's competing for it yet. But what if it's getting 4000 exact searches a month? Simply writing articles, putting your key phrase in the title, body and bio box is just not going to cut it. I needed something else that would actually work.

No chance of it happening by writing articles and submitting them to EzineArticles, anyway. That's a good way to build traffic to your website over a LONG period of time. We're not talking weeks, months, heck, we're not even talking a year. We're talking 2, 3 years. The more you write, the more traffic you get, but it takes a LONG time. That's why so many people get frustrated with it and just give up.

There are people who are making 6-figures from "Bum" Article Marketing, but they had to write quality articles around 1000 words long, every weekday. They also enjoyed it as well. That definitely helps.

See, when I was writing 5 articles a day, I was more focused on churning them out more than anything. I wasn't focused on quality at all. Now, the result is an average of 10 visits a day to my site, even though I haven't written for it for about 2 years.

SEO Link Vine is all about backlink building. You get the links you want for your keywords and slowly, you'll appear for keywords. The more you write, the more you get published, the higher you climb and the more visible you become in the SERPs. If you get to the top of  a keyword that gets searched a lot, you've hit the jackpot. However, there's always a chance of disappearing off the radar completely, if Google feels "emotional".

The safest bet to prevent you from losing your place in Google after you rank for it is actually providing decent, relevant content. Have you got something you don't want to share, but sell? Give it away for free. That's the sort of thing that will build you audiences and followers. SEO Link Vine is more short term, but you have to be good at keyword research. EzineArticles traffic is dependable, but takes longer. Which do you choose for your Internet Marketing career?
